These films go much more beyond taking beautiful shots and laying these shots down to a track of music.  These films are handcrafted and aim to capture the personality of your relationship. We look for the stories that make up the bigger story, it’s these stories that make your wedding film personal, add emotion, and helps create an engaging film that covers the entire day, in a way photos cant. We do as much research as we can before the ceremony, so that we can ask the right questions, identify surprises, and capture special candid moments in a unique way. Every wedding day is different, and personal and we believe your film should be an expression of that.

BOOKING YOUR WEDDING FILM
While we are sometimes able to accommodate couples on short notice, we recommend booking 6 months in advance. During the more popular wedding months, dates can become unavailable. If you need help deciding on a custom package please don’t hesitate to call or email. In order to reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required with a signed agreement engaging Ty Stuyvesant Wedding Films to film your wedding. We accept cash, & personal checks. If you would like to ‘hold’ your wedding date please give us a call or send us an e-mail. We can ‘reserve’ your wedding date up to one month.

FAQ

WILL FILMING BE OBTRUSIVE?
Our professional HD cameras are designed to work effectively in low light situations and we do not use any lights in addition to the existing light in the church. While we may ask for a few acting shots during the day, our goal is to capture and use candid shots for your film.

WHY SHOULD I HIRE A PROFESSIONAL?
Your Wedding is a one-take event, with no chances to go back and correct mistakes or oversights. We have recorded and worked lots of events and we have the equipment, the experience and the professional know-how to capture and edit all the special moments of your wedding day. During post-production we make your video polished-looking, fast-paced, and fun to watch. It’s all about showing your story.
HOW SOON WILL THE DVD BE READY?
The average completion time is 4-6 weeks after receiving all necessary materials. Lately we’ve been able to edit and finish your films within a week of shooting, so while your on your honeymoon, films are uploaded to Vimeo and links are sent to your email. You can then re-live your moments, and share your moments with friends and family right away!
